Engineered to meet the demands of Jason Richardson’s virtuosic technique, the 6-string Artist Series Cutlass features a custom-contoured lower horn for superior access to all 24 frets, along with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The design delivers articulate, dynamic performance with custom high-output artist humbuckers, a push-push volume boost, a push-push coil-split, and a modern tremolo. Crafted from an Alder body with a striking Poplar Burl veneer top.
Built to Jason Richardson’s specs, this artist Cutlass model incorporates custom features to improve on comfortability and performance. Starting with a lightweight double-cutaway body design, the lower countered horn gives you access to all 24 frets like never before.
Built for high-performance playing, the smooth roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, locking tuners, and modern tremolo support fast, expressive technique.
Equipped with a pair of custom Sterling by Music Man artist pickups, a coil-split tone control, and a 12dB push-push boost, the Richardson offers a crushing tonal range.
